THE EVES

"A glistening pop gem with delightful harmonies"

- Jim Gellatly, Amazing Radio

Caroline has now formed pop duo ‘The Eves’ with Marissa Keltie.

Their single ‘Brand New Day’, released in April 2021, made it onto several BBC Radio 2 shows. After starting out as ‘New to 2” on Ken Bruce, the track made it onto the C list, then moved up to the B list, racking up numerous plays by OJ Borg, The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show, Claudia Winkelman, Steve Wright, Ken Bruce, Michael Ball, Vanessa Feltz, Rylan on Saturday, Johnnie & Tiggy Walker and Tony Blackburn.

The track was also made ‘Single of the Week’ on BBC Radio Scotland, hit No. 6 and No. 15 in the iTunes pop charts and iTunes main download chart respectively, charted in the Amazon ‘New Hot Releases’ UK Chart, and made an impressive debut in the UK Official Charts Company download and single charts in the top 75. The icing on the cake was a placing on official Spotify editorial playlist ‘New Pop UK’ for several weeks.

A deal with top UK Sync agency A&G Songs swiftly followed, in addition to co-writes with writers and producers Jim Duguid (Paolo Nutini) and Steve Chrisanthou (Corinne Bailey Rae, Will Young, Gabrielle, Paloma Faith).

Select online performances in 2020 during the Covid Lockdown included being invited by Levi’s to perform across their socials to 26 million followers for their 5:01 Live ‘Stay Home, Stay Connected’ campaign, as well as a live set for Amazing Radio and drinks company Bodega Bay.  The duo also worked remotely with producer Lewis Gardiner (Nick Jonas, Ellie Goulding) to create a new portfolio of work.

Prior to the Covid Pandemic, 2019 was a hugely successful year for live performances, with appearances at TRNSMT, Country to Country, King Tuts Summer Nights and opening for The Shires.  The pair also made their debut on TV with an interview on BBC Scotland’s entertainment show ‘The Edit’ in the run up to TRNSMT.

As well as being a songwriter and performer, Marissa is an established voiceover artist and commercial model. Her voiceover clients include Universal Music Group, critically acclaimed commercial director Ruben Latre, Johnnie Walker Whisky and The Scottish Government. Working for the world-renowned Model Team agency, she has appeared in many campaigns for clients including British Airways, Scottish Opera, Heineken and Natwest.

In the charity sector, Caroline is Patron of the 6VT Edinburgh City Youth Cafe - a charity specialising in providing support to young people from all walks of life. Marissa also assists the charity with running music workshops.

The duo also set up and run the U.K side of dog rescue organisation Pico’s Pack - which raises awareness and funds to care for abandoned and abused dogs in Serbia.
