"I love this band"
- OJ Borg, BBC Radio 2
Caroline formed pop duo ‘The Eves’ with Marissa Keltie in 2016, and they've since become one of the UK’s most promising pop acts and songwriting duos in recent years with their stand-out brand of harmonic, melodic pop.
Single releases ‘We’re On Fire’, ‘Big Love’ and ‘Brand New Day’ have commanded acclaim and attention from mainstream radio, featuring on BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio Scotland and BBC Introducing. The tracks have also featured heavily on regional and online playlists worldwide.
Self-penned ‘Brand New Day’ spent a stunning 5 weeks on the BBC Radio 2 playlist. It also achieved ‘Single of the Week’ on BBC Radio Scotland, was played on Bauer Media’s Forth 1 radio station, reached No. 6 and No. 15 in the iTunes pop and main download charts, charted in the Amazon ‘New Hot Releases’ UK Chart, and made an impressive debut in the UK Official Charts Company download and single charts in the top 65. The track also features on episodes of ITV's 'Love Island' and ‘The Kardashians’ on Disney Plus and Hulu worldwide.
‘Big Love’ was given the prestige of being adopted as the official anthem for Scottish Women’s Football for the 2022/2023 League Season. The track was also featured on BBC Scotland’s most popular football show ‘Off the Ball’ with Tam Cowan and Stuart Cosgrove.
The duo’s most recent release is the 4-track EP ‘Both Sides’ released in 2024, and was co-written and produced by Dan Gautreau (Alicia Keys, Gary Barlow) featuring drummer Ash Soan (Snow Patrol) and Grammy-nominated string composer Dylan Love (Star Wars Outlaws). A limited vinyl edition of the EP will be released in early November 2025 featuring a bonus track 'The Silence' that was recorded but previously unreleased at the beginning of their career with producer Mark Morrow. The vinyl edition is available for pre-order now.
On stage the pair are seasoned performers, having opened for a raft of major global artists at sold out shows including Belinda Carlisle, Sister Sledge and The Shires. They've toured extensively with Skerryvore and Horse across the UK, opened for Callum Beattie at the legendary Barrowland Ballroom, and performed at numerous festivals including TRNSMT and Country to Country.
Their opening performance for Skerryvore at the sold-out Celtic Connections show at The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall in 2024 remains a highlight of their live career, proving their ability to connect with audiences in both intimate and large-scale settings.
Other highlights include performing at the Guinness Six Nations rugby at BT Murrayfield Stadium, recording a live session for BBC Scotland’s ‘The Quay Sessions’, and several TV appearances on BBC Scotland’s ‘The Edit’ on national TV and BBC i-Player and STV’s ‘Bringing in the Bells” 2025 Hogmanay show, ‘What’s On’ entertainment programme and ‘The Braw and the Brave’ chat show.
Their next show is at Cottiers Theatre on 24th October 2025. Tickets on sale now.
